Citizen Work

We have multidisciplinary approach to art and design with our primary focus being Public Art Furniture. Our interest  is to make unique environments for people to experience a place, people, friends, family, etc. Craft, concept design, and engineering are all very important elements for us as we work with our clients. We look at every new project as an opportunity to make a positive change in the way we communicate and experience one another. With dual histories in Sculpture and Furniture Design, we hope to offer something unexpected, yet necessary into the world. We have a studio in New Mexico, USA, where  the majority of our larger scale projects are made. 

We use domestic woods, such as White Oak and Douglas Fir to create many of our pieces. These woods tend to withstand the elements much better than others and are durable. Our bent wood designs employ marine grade boat building materials to achieve dynamic shapes and unusual curves. Wood is our favorite material to work with, but not the only material we use. We have steel and aluminum tables and are currently experimenting with concrete.
